For over 10 years now, Erik Weingold has been drafting private placement memoranda that have specifically been used to raise millions of dollars for startup companies and small businesses seeking to raise capital to launch and expand their business. In that time, Mr. Weingold has also been in-house corporate securities counsel to a Fortune 500 company, responsible for general corporate, securities, and finance matters.
In addition, he has practiced corporate securities law for various law firms, representing a range of companies, including small private startups and large public companies. Mr. Weingold was also the founder and General Counsel to an encryption software company for which he drafted his first private placement memorandum in 1995 that helped the company to obtain an initial round of financing of over $500,000. Mr. Weingold is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey. He is a graduate of Tulane University and McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in Sacramento, California. Mr Weingold is a member of the American Bar Association.
